Privacy policy
How we collect, use and protect your information, in plain language. Last updated October 2026.
Who we are
HireVyze is a recruitment firm based in Ontario, Canada. This policy explains how we handle personal information that employers and candidates give us through hirevyze.com, by email, or on calls. Questions go to our privacy contact at [email protected].
What we collect
From employers: your name, work email, phone, company, location and the details of the role you are hiring for.
From candidates: your name, email, phone, city, current and target role, years of experience, work authorization, availability, and anything you choose to share, such as a LinkedIn profile, a resume link or a skills summary.
From every visitor: basic usage data, such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location, collected with analytics cookies when they are enabled.
Location in our forms: we suggest your city from your approximate network location, which we do not store. If you press “Use my location”, your browser asks your permission, and your rounded coordinates are sent to BigDataCloud only to look up the city name. Only the city you submit is kept.
Why we use it
To respond to your inquiry, run a search, evaluate candidates against a role, and introduce candidates to employers. To improve this website and understand which pages are useful.
We never sell personal information. We never send a candidate’s profile to an employer without first telling the candidate about the role and getting their agreement.
How AI is involved
We use AI tools to organise candidate information and compare it with the written requirements of a role. A person on our team reviews every result. No hiring decision is made by AI alone, and evaluations are based on job-related criteria only.
Who we share it with
Employers, only for candidates who have agreed to be introduced. Service providers that help us run the business, such as our customer-relationship software, email, website hosting and analytics, under agreements that limit their use of the data. Authorities, if the law requires it. Some providers may store data outside Canada; when they do, it is protected by contract and subject to the laws of that country.
How long we keep it
Employer inquiries for as long as we work together and two years after. Candidate profiles for two years from your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, at any time by writing to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Cookies and analytics
We may use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to understand how the site is used. Advertising cookies are off by default. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new date.
